3rd Graders Go Snowshoeing!
The 3rd graders have been studying the tundra for the past few weeks, and we finally got snow to do a little outside exploring. We went snowshoeing all around BHCS grounds, discussing what it must be like to be a polar bear and have to walk across thick snow and ice. The snowshoes represented the large paws that polar bears have. Students enjoyed themselves very much. We hope to do it again, once we have more snow!
