This year, Mrs. Nightingale’s fifth graders are going to hold a Readathon to try to save the lives of dogs and cats at the SPCA of Hancock County.  The Readathon begins April 8th.  We are asking for sponsors to pledge a penny a page for each page that a child can read in a month’s time.


We will keep track of the amount of pages read and each child will receive a certificate showing how many pages he or she read during the month.  We will then collect the money from each sponsor and it will be used to feed and neuter animals at the SPCA.
